I worry a great deal about revealing too much of who I really am in my online writings and probably a lot of that worry is warranted. Still, there is something to be said for celebrating the humanity we all share with the hope that all will come out clean in the wash. So a while back, a blog challenge went out from somewhere (I’ve forgotten where) to write a “recipe of me”. That seems an appealing challenge so I started to take it on – and then didn’t! Recipe appeals to me because I enjoy cooking, it’s the “me” part that is challenging. Rather than a recipe though, the thing churning in my mind is more an ingredients list.

I suppose I should elaborate on those 5 areas, but, meh. I like all of those words, but I have to admit, number 4 gives me pause. That one is both a blessing and a curse, but it is what it is. Of course, number 1 can be a pain sometimes too – especially for other people (but truth be told, it’s my favorite one).
It’s helpful at times to take an assessment of where you are in the world. It’s kind of like a content audit of your character. No matter what you find there, it’s a starting point for the next phase. Just like web design.
